Welcome to Alice's Place

Alice and I have been running 'Alice's Place' since 2001, providing holiday accommodation for people from all over the world. This is a two bedroom, deceptively spacious bungalow that can comfortably accommodate four people. The property is double glazed and has full central heating which is thermostatically controlled 24 hours a day. All bed linen and towels are included. Hall / Lounge

Entry to the bungalow is at the side of the property via a small enclosed porch. The spacious hall leads off to the two bedrooms, lounge and bathroom. The lounge is approximately 20 feet in length and has a fireplace at one end creating a focal point. There is a leather three piece suite, LCD TV/ DVD player and CD/radio. There are also a selection of books, maps and some games.

Bedrooms

The bedrooms are positioned at the front of the bungalow with the master bedroom containing a double bed with matching wooden furniture. The smaller bedroom contains twin beds. There are thermostatic controlled radiators and electric table top fans in both rooms. A hair drier is also supplied in the master bedroom along with extra bedding should it be required.

Bathroom

The bathroom contains a white suite with a well positioned electric shower over the bath. The room is three quarter tiled with the remainder of the room benefiting from contrasting paper. A shaver point / light and extractor fan are also provided, with a supporting frame available to fit around the toilet if required. Please note that we do not supply towels for use on the beach.

Kitchen

The kitchen is of good size and benefits from colourful decor. There is an electric fan oven and hob with ample units for guests use. Further appliances include dishwasher, fridge/freezer, filter coffeemaker, microwave, washing machine and iron/ironing board. The kitchen also has the benefit of a breakfast table and chairs.

Conservatory

The conservatory is light and airy with a tiled floor. A glass top dinning table and four chairs provide ample space for family meals. There is the added provision of an electric clothes drier here, that is operated by a coin meter. An electric heater provides the warmth in the conservatory in the chillier times.

Exterior

The bungalow sits back off the road and is predominantly block paved to the front, side and rear with the addition of lawned areas. There is ample parking on the drive for a large car and further parking on the street. Access to the rear garden is through the conservatory or via the side entrance which has a locked gate. The garden has a paved area and a large decked area with garden furniture. Rising out of the decking is a large cedar wood chalet style gazebo which has a seating area and the main feature of a family sized hot spa. To the rear of the gazebo is an area of shrubs with stepping stones leading to a garden seat.
